This year was very different.  The camp was large.  It was warm and a full moon.  For Earlene and myself we had are new family member with us, Cricket.

Friday we headed over to the notches to see what was going on.  Every year this becomes more of an attraction then the year before.  It's so primal watching the people ewe and awe as others take there rigs to the limit and swarm to the rig that topples over onto its side or top.

Later that day we went down to registration.  It's always fun to see the lines of jeeps and other vehicles.  Earlene and Cricket waited in the jeep when I went in to get the registration complete.

Later that night we headed back to the notches.  Donald went over on his side.

Saturday we followed Bob and the Get Ugly Crew down the wash.  They turned off to climb some of the mud hills.  We had a stock YJ and XJ with us so I headed us down the wash looking for something a little more fitting for our group.  We ended up going up a dead end wash that had springs a short hike off the trail.

And finally, what would a trip with Dehesa by without a rescue!
